GayDays (often called Gay Days Orlando) is one of the longest-running and largest LGBTQ+ gatherings in the United States. It takes place each year in Orlando, Florida, typically during late May or early June, bringing together thousands of LGBTQ+ visitors and allies for a multi-day celebration of community, visibility, and pride.
What It Is
GayDays began in 1991 when a small group of LGBTQ+ friends decided to visit Walt Disney World together wearing red shirts so they could easily recognize each other in the park. The tradition grew organically, and over the years it expanded into a major annual event that now attracts tens of thousands of attendees from around the world.
